Oprah special report:
Americian School in CRISIS

Was watching the Oprah show the other day and the topic of the day is the a/m.
They went to do investigations on Public schools in US -Chicago.
The school is beyond imagine hw bad or worse it is in.
Leaking water n GAS pipes, spoils roof, walls falling apart etc...
Damage reports done by the sch submitted in 2002 is nt fixed yet till now.
There is this sch tat exterior is damm gorgeous but once u get inside, it is the direct opposite.
Nobody seems to care.
And they went into the education systems of the schs and it was real bad.
The students from these schs who went to collage is actually so far behind the others.
They have nt learnt alot of stuff and thru a reserach they done.
They found out that the students are actually 2 grades behind their same ago white counterparts.
The drop out rates is out of control.
The system is in crisis and the gov is nt doing much
and the parents is nt getting these in mind when .....
etc....
Gates foundations have been doing much in education work which is heart warmming to see the world richest man is having a big heart helping ppl with the $ he had. (nt many rich ppl do that ya)

Announcement

After a week of thinking it over.
Weighing the Pros n Cons.
Evaluate what do i actually want.
Thinking over the deals.

I DECLINED THE OFFER
to be part of Tiger Airway cabin crew.

After soughting views with few ppl.
Some say go for the experiences.
The stepping stone.
Jus work first.
Dun work.
Nt worth it.
etc......

The benefits of flying Tiger !!!
3 yrs contract, 1 yr bond.
No meal and transport allowances.
Basic $800
Might fly 2 country
if flight 3hr below.
Bond take effect after flying.
e.g :
Sg to Thai - 1 sector - abt $12
Thai back to Sg - 1 sector - $12
so total abt $24
n tats ur flight allowances for the day.

5% commision.

Its abt $1.5K take home.

Given consideration of all above.
The 1.5K minus all the
Midnite Cab fare n food.
I wont have much left
or might nt even enuff at all.

Therefore i decline the offer.

Went to Pasir Ris Beach Fisherman Village
with WR n Marcus.
Was a spur of moments actually, as i need
to pass Marcus something which is kinda imp
then was deciding a place to meet n have dinner
as well, Fisherman jus blurt out suddenly.
Which we bth agreed as bth of us nv go
for v long le... and decided to call WR as well
since he is on morning duty the day and will
be off duty ard the time too...
Jess if u see this its nt pre planned
Its jus sorta sudden and too far for u le
Hw u go home sia????
The nite is rather cool
Cos its been v long time tat
it was a ALL GUYS NITE.
We chatted, drink 2 barrel of beer.
Nice ....
Tok abt stuff which we wont say with
the girls ard...
Our thinking n stuff....
Then go Elise Mall 7-11 sat till morning
as cab fare is expensive...
So tired man....

Sunday aka my bday
Basically jus rotted at home ...

Only met up with the Kuku, JL n gang
for a movie and dinner

So sad, my bday is coming
but bcos i am jobless now

Short Updates

What happens after Sept 6 ?

Sept 11 - 5th anni for the world

Went to the Tiger Airway interview.
Am kinda on the dot upon reaching
which is kinda inappropriate thingy.
As its the rule of thumb to reach earlier
for interview.

Okay, i arrived after finding it for very long
Its like a maze inside.
The office is very very warm.
As if the aircon is spoilt that resulted me
sweating in the room.
Can u believed it? U can sweat in Airport!!!
Anw... ya a staff brought me to another room
On the way i asked her whether am i the only one
or....
She kindly replied: No, got more....
Me: Alot?
She: Nt really.
Upon reaching the room.
Saw 5 other guys and i was like scanning ard.
To my surprise i feel that i am the
most good looking amongst.
Surprised rite that such word actually cld cometh
out of my mouth....
First time in life that i said such words.
And before i settled down n finish filling up the forms.
The interviewers came and started the interview
WOW... i thought sia....
I am still sweating duhzzz
And it all begins with a self intro one by one.
Followed by reading of passages one by one.
Some problems scenerio questions posted.
Q&A.
Interview ended.
I actually am rather nervous
But i just laugh it through with lame jokes.
Smiling n wiping my sweats saying
Its very warm in here....
Cover up for my blanks n nervours haaaaa
Overall i perceived myself to be the top 3 amongst.
So when all left i am needed to stay n finish the forms
N the interviewers stayed n waited for me.
One of them actually asked me to find a seat n finshed
the form comfortablely instead of standing
while i ans by feeling bad that making them wait for me.
Thus trying my best to finish fast.
I tried to make a small chat with the other one.
Asking for her name and apologise for waiting etc...
And she asked hw shld she addressed me as....
which makes me even more assured.

13th sept

Met up with Jess Jacq n Wr at bugis where
we suppose to go this talk but decided nt to
as Jacq is lazy....
Haaa sat at Breeko and chit chatted till nite

15th sept

Camp had organised a farewell BBQ for CJ departure.
Met up with Elvis to go 2gether.
Envy elvis for landing a job tat fast with 2K summore.

Went and catch up with the rest.

16th sept

Went to zouk the earliest ever.....

As a previous nite of 2 shots

I wan to sleep man
But i realised that i getting more n more
difficult to get high wats more drunk.
Think i getting alcoholic le
Die... alcohol addict
So after ktv went to merchant court for buffet
A catching up of the grp n the operators
Didnt know its to celebrates my bday
as they nt sure next wk they free nt
My KuKu brought me a addidas Tshirt
So sweet rite... as cute as ever....

19th sept

Tiger airway called me up for 2nd interview
tis thurs - 21st sept.
Do a check up and found
their take home is abt 1.5K
Which i think i do a norm job also same $
Might as well i work a norm job better still
I got a Wkend n PH free for a norm
And nt bound by contract for 1 yr
but i still will go for the experiences of interview
Ultimately SIA, Emirates, BA is my aim.
I gotta saved the $ ASAP for studies.
I nt young animore.
I have nt much time to linger.
Wish me luck...
I might nt get selected for tiger anw...

Went NTU Hostel for the first time
With Kuku n gang to cook
A fail attempt to Bak Ku Teh hahzzz

Fun though to see the hostel room of
Chok n JL, hw they live n environment etc....
Kuku Still so cute as ever.... Missed him alr
Told them abt the SIA n Emirates interview
n to see kuku face when he know tat if i got in
i will be stationed at Dubai for 3 yrs.
Hai~ the cant wait for me to go face....
I do hope i get into Emirates though...

Aug 23rd
Went to Wed Zouk/Phuture
With Marc, WR, Shaun, Jacq
Jess didnt turn up
Sophie was ard with frends
Nt tat fun nite.

Aug 26th
The day arrived.
Went for first round and failed.
Reason?
I freeze inside.
I jus blabber rubbish and wrong construct of words
I can speak to 100s to 300s of freshmens with
no problem, one on one interview also ok
yet i can fail at the interview with 9 other
stranger applicants in the room with me.
Jus giving myself too much stress pressure and
Not used to having unrelated ppl hearing me
Selling myself to get into a job bah....
Must overcome it man....

Ask if i willing to work at science park if get the job
i was like if nite shift i still dun really mind
I mean i live bedok n u expect me to reach Jurong at 7am
U must be Crazy man
And in the first place u r crazy when u have a office
Opp my home yet u ask me go Jurong.
Crazy one
But at least it the second company who reply me
After like abt 40 over resume sent.......
OMG i hate the job seeking part.....

I mean like .... yeah fresh grad no experiences
And if u all Bosses dun give chance for them to work
Hw will they earn the work experiences .....
The one day u dun give chances the one day they dun
